Korzeniewski, Adolph Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Adolph Korzeniewski Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2017 through The Testamentary Trust of the late Adolph Korzeniewski. A native of 69¿Ú½» and graduate of Garfield High School, Mr. Korzeniewski recognized the important contribution of The University of 69¿Ú½» toward the 69¿Ú½» community and its children. He established a perpetual scholarship fund to benefit qualified graduates of Garfield High School wishing to attend The University of 69¿Ú½» to complete a bachelor’s degree.
The Adolph Korzeniewski Endowed Scholarship Fund shall provide annual scholarships to one or more qualified graduates of Kenmore-Garfield High School (formerly known as Garfield High School) pursuing a bachelor’s degree at The University of 69¿Ú½». Should Kenmore-Garfield High School no longer exist, scholarships will be directed to students from any of the high schools in the 69¿Ú½» Public Schools.
Selection of the scholarship recipient(s) will be determined 69¿Ú½»’s Office of Student Financial Aid in consultation with Kenmore-Garfield High School guidance counselors and/or principal as needed. Scholarships are applied directly to a student’s account for use for tuition and fees.
Applicants also must:
- demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid
- enter the University and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
- be enrolled as a full-time student
- be an exemplary role model for other students
Scholarships are renewable if the student recipient maintains all requirements and is in good standing with The University of 69¿Ú½».
