Aldrich, Doris S. Endowed Leadership Scholarship
Faculty, friends, and students established The Doris S. Aldrich Endowed Leadership Scholarship in 1989 (formerly known as The Doris S. Aldrich Endowed Leadership Award and Scholarship) to honor professor emeritus Doris Aldrich for her outstanding contribution in the area of dietetics, and in particular, the Coordinated Undergraduate Program which was developed in 1975. There is an engraved plaque displayed in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences' office to recognize Mrs. Aldrich and recipients of the scholarship.
The Doris S. Aldrich Endowed Leadership Scholarship is presented annually to a student in the Dietetics Graduate Program who has demonstrated leadership skills. The amount awarded is based on the size of the growing endowment. Selection of recipients is made by faculty in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences.
